Datalytyx donation to deserving school

We’re pleased to announce that last week, Datalytyx presented Howard of Effingham School’s Music Department with a donation of new electric drum kits complete with amplifiers in addition to the refurbishment of an existing drum kit. The equipment and refurbishment were supplied by The Drums and Percussion Centre in Mayford, near Woking.

After having attended an enjoyable recital at the school in January, Datalytyx Director and Co-Founder John Webb felt inspired to donate with a gift that he felt would be put to excellent use by students throughout the school.

Head of Music, Ben Pont said “This gift will allow our students to have greater access to a high quality acoustic drum kit, as well as providing the visiting peripatetic teachers with better quality kits for teaching.

The donation of the drum kits will not only enable more students to practise within the department, but it will also enhance the music technology provision at the school. Use of the drum kits can be integrated into Music Technology A Level, and within KS3 and KS4 lessons.

We would like to thank Datalytyx for their generosity and the Drums and Percussion Centre for their input and are looking forward to as many students as possible benefitting from these amazing new drum kits.”
