Datalytyx, the leading technology enabler for shared services and outsourcing governance, today announced it has been chosen by Talend, the global big data integration software leader, to initiate its Value Added Reseller (VAR) channel in the UK. Together, the companies will service the growing demand for Talend’s enterprise solutions and help maximise customers’ return on investment.

The partnership builds on Managed Service Solutions strong background in performance management, data analytics, data integration, and data quality using the Hortonworks and HP Vertica big data platforms. Prior to establishing a VAR agreement, Datalytyx worked with Talend’s open source solutions to assist clients with challenges around operational data amalgamation from core back office systems including SAP, Remedy, Oracle, and Infor.

Datalytyx will operate as an extension of the Talend team to help expand the market reach for Talend Enterprise products in the UK. To a large degree, the partnership is about enabling organisations to easily aggregate data from a variety of sources and leverage big data platforms such as Hadoop to gather, store, and analyse data.  In the future, the companies also plan to collaborate on developing new connectors to additional back-office and cloud data sources.

“Working with Talend is bringing far-reaching benefits to Datalytyx and our customers,” said Justin Mullen, co-founder and director, Datalytyx. “We have delivered significant value to our clients by helping them avoid costly and time-consuming data integration projects that would have previously required lots of manual data manipulation. Thanks to Talend’s next generation integration and big data capabilities, our customers can significantly increase the speed of delivery and time to value, translating directly into reduced development costs and associated maintenance.”

“At a time when many organisations are looking to move beyond their initial interest in big data into trials and commercial roll-outs, we are excited to have the opportunity to place our strong working relationship with Datalytyx onto a more formal footing,” François Mero, senior vice president of sales EMEA, Talend.  “We are confident that the partnership will help customers use their data more efficiently and effectively to shape business strategies and drive a competitive edge.”
